PHYSICAL TRAINER

People who have a college degree, a high level of passion to help people, compassion for those who they are helping, and wish to become a physical therapist; or if you are interested in working in the business of healthcare, you, will do very well in this position.

This is a stepping stone to entry into physical therapy school, which many who have worked with us have attained. We will write glowing letters of recommendation for all who work diligently at OPTM.

This position is 30+ hours weekly and may include work in our business office or in the front office. We will be making a substantial investment in your training, thus, we would like you to be here for at least 1 year.

You will receive training in exercise technique and prescription and the use of modalities. You will also be responsible for keeping the office safe and clean and ensure that the therapists are adequately supplied to care for our customers. You may be asked to perform clerical tasks as well. If you will be working in the business or front office, you will also go through a great training process. The more skills you have, the more valuable you will become!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS/ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATE

This position is the first point of contact with our customers. As such, this position has the responsibility to create the positive first impression of OPTM.     A person who would like to have a successful career in the business of healthcare would be successful in this position. It involves procuring authorization for care and scheduling of patients and interfacing with insurance companies for verification of benefits. This position will be managing accounts receivables and some human resources issues. You would be involved in many aspects of our business functions. And, most importantly, you would be creating that most positive first impression of OPTM for our customers.   Qualifications:

  • An AA degree or higher.
  • Comfortable using the Microsoft office platform.
  • Possess professional phone etiquette and motivation to learn more.
  • Able to work 25-40 hours per week; Monday through Friday between 8am – 5pm.
  • Comfortable working independently or with a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced office to ensure we service our customers.

  Compensation:

  • Starting wage: $16 / hour.

ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are a busy physical therapy practice with locations in Willow Glen and Los Gatos. We are seeking a dynamic, detail oriented, multi task person who excels at customer service to work as an account manager in our business office. The business office is located in our Willow Glen office.

If you are interested in healthcare operations, this is a great opportunity for you. You will be responsible for handling, new patient registration, patient scheduling, data entry, account reconciliations, and insurance verification and authorizations.  You will also learn about medical insurance billing, HIPPA procedures, Medicare and workers compensation guidelines, CPT Coding, ICD-10 coding, EMR systems and medical reports. This position offers you experience in both customer service relations and healthcare administration. You are responsible for daily communication between clients, insurance companies, and referral sources. Experience with Microsoft office, customer service and an AA or equivalent is required.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS

We are a busy physical therapy practice with locations in Los Gatos and Willow Glen. We are seeking a dynamic, detail oriented, multi task person who excels at customer service. This is a full time position.

If you are interested in healthcare operations, this is a great opportunity for you. As well as being responsible for handling incoming calls, new patient registration, patient scheduling, data entry, and all front office duties, you will learn about medical insurance billing, HIPPA procedures and guidelines, EMR systems and medical reports. Experience with Microsoft office, customer service and an AA or equivalent is required.
