OPTM Sports & Physical Therapy is a leading provider of physical therapy in Santa Clara County. We provide sports and orthopedic rehabilitation to active people of all ages.

OPTM has been providing sports and orthopedic care since 1990. Our referral base of over 500 sources entrusts the management of their patients’ recovery to us. We help folks of all ages with musculo-skeletal conditions ranging from total joint replacements to low back pain. We also have a women’s health program for all issues prevalent to women including adolescent sports injuries, pre & post-natal care, incontinence, lymphedema and fibrosis management and osteoporosis.

 

Everyone contributes to the healing environment. We have monthly, 4 hour educational meetings, which teach the most current aspects of the examination and treatment of various disorders. Our monthly staff meetings inform everyone of the state of our business and of our current medico-political environment. At OPTM, we will treat you like a customer!

Each new therapist will receive weekly blocked time for mentoring and education about our philosophy and treatment patterns.

PHYSICAL TRAINER

People who have a college degree, a high level of passion to help people, compassion for those who they are helping, and wish to become a physical therapist; or if you are interested in working in the business of healthcare, you, will do very well in this position.

 

This is a stepping stone to entry into physical therapy school, which many who have worked with us have attained. We will write glowing letters of recommendation for all who work diligently at OPTM.

 

This position is 30+ hours weekly and may include work in our business office or in the front office. The pay is $12 / hour for the trainer position. We will be making a substantial investment in your training, thus, we would like you to be here for at least 1 year.

 

You will receive training in exercise technique and prescription and the use of modalities. You will also be responsible for keeping the office safe and clean and ensure that the therapists are adequately supplied to care for our customers. You may be asked to perform clerical tasks as well. If you will be working in the business or front office, you will also go through a great training process. The more skills you have, the more valuable you will become!

ACCOUNT MANAGER/CUSTOMER RELATIONS

We are a busy physical therapy practice with offices located in Willow Glen and Los Gatos. We are seeking individuals with dynamic customer service skills. The perfect candidate would excel in multi-tasking, be detail oriented and enjoy working within a team as well as individually.

We have positions available in our business office and front office. All positions are FT positions Monday thru Friday.

If you are interested in healthcare operations, this is a great opportunity for you. You will be responsible for handling new patient registrations, patient scheduling, data entry, account reconciliations, and insurance verification. You will learn about medical insurance billing, HIPPA procedures, Medicare and workers compensation guidelines, CPT and ICD-10 coding, EMR systems and medical reports. Extensive training will be provided.

These positions offer you opportunities in both customer service relations and healthcare administration.

Experience with Microsoft office, customer service and an AA or equivalent is required.

ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are a busy physical therapy practice with locations in Willow Glen and Los Gatos. We are seeking a dynamic, detail oriented, multi task person who excels at customer service to work as an account manager in our business office. The business office is located in our Willow Glen office.

If you are interested in healthcare operations, this is a great opportunity for you. You will be responsible for handling, new patient registration, patient scheduling, data entry, account reconciliations, and insurance verification and authorizations.  You will also learn about medical insurance billing, HIPPA procedures, Medicare and workers compensation guidelines, CPT Coding, ICD-10 coding, EMR systems and medical reports. This position offers you experience in both customer service relations and healthcare administration. You are responsible for daily communication between clients, insurance companies, and referral sources.

Experience with Microsoft office, customer service and an AA or equivalent is required.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS

We are a busy physical therapy practice with locations in Los Gatos and Willow Glen. We are seeking a dynamic, detail oriented, multi task person who excels at customer service. This is a full time position.

If you are interested in healthcare operations, this is a great opportunity for you. As well as being responsible for handling incoming calls, new patient registration, patient scheduling, data entry, and all front office duties, you will learn about medical insurance billing, HIPPA procedures and guidelines, EMR systems and medical reports.

Experience with Microsoft office, customer service and an AA or equivalent is required.
